About the Tour Program
The Son Camp IV in East-Cuba Tour is organized by the Salsa Camp Events Travel Agency in cooperation with the Yanek Revilla ABC Dance School in Santiago, the Sabor DKY dance company and friends.

You can look forward to an awesome tour program, where you will have maximum time and possibilities to boost your son dancing skills and to enjoy the special East Cuban vibes by getting under the skin and roots of the Cuban son dance & music culture and the people in Santiago and East-Cuba.

The tour program is organized with two dance- and culture program blocks of 5 days, which are seperated by a 3  day´s weekend program with the possibility to do own activities like exploring Santiago and surrounding and parts of East-Cuba like Holguin, Guantanamo and Baracoa, as the overview illustrated here:

About the dance -and culture program
The dance- and culture program includes 20 hours of dance workshops with Cuban dance partners and 6 hours of culture and musicality workshops, divided in 10 dance workshops and 3 culture workshops in each of the two dance programs of 5 days. Which will be combined with a super lovely bouquet of social dancing activities, parties, concerts, dance performances, beach tours, culture excursions and the possibility to do private lessons, cultural and social activities on your own.

A typical day of the dance -and culture program will be like this:
09.45-10.00: Morning assembly
10.00-12.15: Dance workshops
12.15-14.00: Lunch
14.00-15.00: Culture workshop
15.00-17.30: Free time for own private lessons, culture and social activities
18.00-21.00: Dinner and free time
21.00-24.00: Common night dancing activity
                     or possibility for doing own night activities

About the dance levels, teaching and dance partners
You shall sign up for the dance program according to your dance level in the Cuban Son, like: Intermediate, advanced and very advanced.

The dance and culture program will be organized as a musicality-oriented program with emphasis on how to dance, play and connect to the music and your dance partner. This will include the teaching in workshop topics from basic son dance technique and leader-follower connection to classical son figures, body movements and footwork as well as son mix with cha cha cha, mambo, bolero, salsa, rumba and afro.

The dance program will be taught by the leaders of the ABC Dance School, Yanek Revilla & Yisel Cuba, as the main teachers, presenting the main workshop topics of the day, which you will train and followed up with your dance assistant. Either in pairs alone or in pairs in small groups. The training with the dance assistants will be supervised by Yanek Revilla & Yisel Cuba and supported by additional dance assistants.

You can look forward to meet some of the best skilled son dancers and assistants in Santiago de Cuba, where a big part of the dancing assistant also were particiating as assistants at Son Camp III 2023 tour.

The dance assistants have a mixed dancing background, including dance teachers, instructors and main company dancers from the Yanek ABC Dance School, the ISA University, the Folclórico del Cutumba and the Folclorico del Oriente dance companies and present and former members of the Sabor DKY Dance Group.

The dance program further includes that you can have private lessons in dancing, percussion and music in all the Cuban dance styles that you want.

About the casa particulares
You will be accommodated in some of the best big casas particulares in Santiago, which are situated near by each other and close to the Santiago Town Center and the main dancing, concerts and cultural venues. So, you are able to reach all program activities by walking.

Some of the casas particulares have big roof terraces, where you can organize common dancing and social activities.

About traveling to Santiago & East Cuba
We will fly directly from Copenhagen and Frankfurt to Holguin in East Cuba with the Condor Air Company and go by bus from Holguin to Santiago. So you will have the shortest traveling time and the maximum time and days to expire and enjoy your stay in Santiago and East Cuba. 

The traveling schedule will be:

About the Price
The price of the Son Camp IV tour will be 24.200 DKK / 3.340 euro for a double room
and 26.100 DKK / 3.600 euro for a single room. (Reservations are made for possible price increases due to the situation in Cuba)

The price includes:
- Condor flight, Copenhagen-Frankfurt-Holguin in East-Cuba/return
- Visa
- Bus Holguin-Santiago/return
- 15 nights incl. breakfast in big Casa Particulares in Santiago
- 20 hours of dance workshops with Cuban dance partners

Sign Up & Payment
You sign up at the www.salsacampevents.dk website, after which you will recive a mail with confirmation and bank information to pay the registration fee of  2.000 DKK / 285 Euro. You are fully confirmed as tour member when the registration fee is paid.

The rest of the tour payment will be divided into two equal payments rates, with the first rate to be paid latest October 2^nd and the second rate latest December 1^st


Cancelation & refund
With cancelation before December 1^st you will receive a total refund minus the registration fee of 2.000 DKK / 270 Euro.
